When asked to move one of the heaviest and largest portable buildings in the UK, our experience and expertise came into its own.

"At over 5.3 m wide and weighing in at 38 tonnes we knew this project would take a lot of planning" said Jon Prankitt, Transport Manager. "Over a period of 3 months we liaised with the Local Councils involved, the Department of Transport and the Police and the customer to ensure that the job ran smoothly from start to finish with no problems. Moved under a special Department of Transport permit to ensure the portable building would cause as little disturbance to the public as possible we had to remove 2 sets of traffic lights, street lighting and pedestrian railings all prior to the job taking place."
